Nature Leaf Organics is a hemp-based brand with a focus on creating product lines out of hemp. This project in particular is a CBD-based line where the packaging is made out of natural materials. This project is also showcasing a complete rebrand.

Problem

A rebrand was required to bring them into a modern setting and for the design to be adaptable for natural inks and textile materials.

Solution

Given the youthful essence of this brand, I aimed to maintain continuity with their original logo while infusing a refreshed aesthetic. Utilizing clean lines and adhering to the golden ratio, I crafted a cannabis leaf at the core, symbolizing not just the leaf itself but the commitment to delivering a high-quality product.


A deliberate choice to limit colors, focusing on a primary shade, dark teal, was made to evoke respect and assertiveness, embodying the hero persona while addressing existing stigma within the cannabis industry. The neutral hues, harmonizing with the amber glass used for the products, were selected to convey care and inclusivity. Typography-wise, the pairing of Larken and Larsseit was purposeful, blending nature-inspired elegance with classical proportions and exceptional readability, ensuring versatility across various scales.


The incorporation of unique patterns serves to evoke an experience aligned with the product's intended effects—soothing and consistent. These patterns draw inspiration from the mesmerizing ripples of water, reflecting tranquility. Japanese design principles guided the overall layout, fostering a sense of equilibrium and harmony among the design elements, amplifying the brand's gender-neutral and inclusive values. The warm, nature-inspired color palette further reinforces these connections, creating an inviting and balanced visual narrative.
